***Turn your Firefox Browser into a Hacking Platform***


I'll be sharing firefox add-ons that will transform your ordinary firefox browser into a more sophisticated/powerful hacking platform.

To download this add-ons, go over to https://addons.mozilla.org/ and search for the extension using the name listed below.

GROUP 1: WHOIS AND GEO-LOCATION

1) ShowIP <--
Show the IP address(es) of the current page in the status bar. It also allows querying custom information services by IP (right click) and hostname (left click), like whois, netcraft, etc. Additionally you can copy the IP address to the clipboard.

2) Active Whois <--
Starting Active Whois to get details about any Web site owner and its host server

3) Bibirmer Toolbar <--
An all-in-one extension. But auditors need to play with the toolbox. It includes (WhoIs, DNS Report, Geolocation, Traceroute, Ping). Very useful for information
gathering phase

GROUP 2: ENUMERATION / FINGERPRINTING

1) Live HTTP Headers <--
View HTTP headers of a page and while browsing.

2) Header Spy <--
Shows HTTP headers on statusbar.

GROUP 3: GOOGLING AND SPIDERING

1) ScrapBook <--
Helps you to save Web pages including all the javascript files and organize the collections.

2) View Dependencies <--
View Dependencies adds a tab to the Page Info window, in which it lists all the files which were loaded to show the current page.

GROUP 4: SECURITY ASSESSMENT / CODE AUDITING

1) JSView <--
All browsers include a "View Source" option, but none of them offer the ability to view the source code of external files. Most websites store their javascripts and style sheets in external files and then link to them within a web page's

2) Cert Viewer Plus <--

3) Firebug <--

HEADER MANIPULATION

1) RefControl <--
Control what gets sent as the HTTP Referer on a per-site basis.

2) User Agent Switcher <--
The User Agent Switcher extension adds a menu and a toolbar button to switch the user agent of a browser.

COOKIES MANIPULATION

1) CookieSwap <--
If you have multiple logins for web based e-mail accounts (like Gmail and Yahoo! mail), then CookieSwap enables you to easily switch between those different accounts by swapping the 'cookies' that the sites use to know you.

SECURITY AUDITING

1) HackBar <--
Simple security audit / Penetration test tool.

2) Tamper Data <--
Use tamperdata to view and modify HTTP/HTTPS headers and post parameters

3) FoxyProxy Standard <--
FoxyProxy is an advanced proxy management tool that completely replaces Firefox's limited proxying capabilities. It offers more features than SwitchProxy, ProxyButton, QuickProxy, xyzproxy, ProxyTex, TorButton, etc.

MISC

1) Greasemonkey <--
Customize the way a web page displays or behaves, by using small bits of JavaScript.
